R&D Engineer - 3947
Term: Permanent, Full Time (Mon-Fri, 39 hours per week)
Holiday: 33 days per year, including statutory holidays

We are currently seeking an R&D Engineer for our esteemed client, a leading company in the manufacturing of inspection equipment. With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in the metal and plastics industries. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in researching and evaluating new technologies aligned with company objectives.
Identify and report on technologies relevant to current and future developments.
Conduct testing and generate technical reports for internal and external presentation.
Produce technical documentation for production systems as required.Additional Duties:

Collaborate closely with design, electrical, and software teams to deliver timely solutions.
Assist the production team with the testing of standard gauging when necessary.Essential Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, ideally with a mechanical bias.
CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
Familiarity with VB, C#, or C++ would be adventurous.Desirable Skills:

Understanding of dimensional measurement principles.
Experience in machine vision applications.
