One of the most exciting nuclear projects in the UK is looking for a structural design engineer to join a fantastic project in the defence sector.

Job Title - Structural Design Engineer
Location - Reading
Contract Length - 18 Months
Pay Rates -  £59.03 per hour (Inside IR35)

Daily Deliverables:

Ensure that the design intent is managed and maintained throughout project lifecycle
Ensure that codes are always worked to and maintained.
Work within a multi-disciplined team to ensure all disciplines are all considered.
Review, escalate and challenge all design drawings and ensure the project is always at the forefront of consideration
Work within project scope and guidelines
Monitor and assess design concept and competence
Key skills and Desirables:

Experience in a structural design role
Experience in a highly regulated environment
Experience in design change notices (DCN)
Experience in seismic design (DESIRED)
Experience in a nuclear capacity (DESIRED)
