Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team to consistently deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
Take responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day operations, including compliance with regulatory standards, such as CQC.
Drive business performance by meeting or exceeding quality, occupancy, and financial targets.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and retention, creating a positive, supportive working environment.
Ensure the home operates efficiently, providing the best care for residents while meeting business goals.
Promote the home within the local community to attract new residents and build lasting connections.
Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring resident satisfaction and upholding the home’s excellent reputation.About You:We are looking for a motivated, results-driven leader with a proven background in managing care homes or as a Deputy Manager ready to take the next step. You’ll have the skills to balance operational management with compassionate leadership, ensuring the home runs smoothly while creating a welcoming, homely environment for residents.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams within a care home setting.
A solid understanding of regulatory requirements (CQC, safeguarding, health and safety).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience in the private fee-paying market and knowledge of local community engagement.
Excellent time management, organisation, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Ability to develop and deliver marketing strategies to increase the home’s visibility and attract residents.
