Role Overview:

Our esteemed client, a leader in third-party logistics (3PL) solutions, is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Operations Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing high-volume warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency
Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate inventory control
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high service standards
Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff (circa. 80 Indirect Reports / 4 Direct Reports)
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to streamline logistics and supply chain activities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and cost-efficiency
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment, preferably was a Warehouse Operations Manager
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
Live within a commutable distance of Doncaster
