We have a fixed-term Weighbridge Operator role available at our Harlow Depot, providing cover during a business period. This role is ideal for someone with customer service and administration skills, offering hands-on experience with plant operations.

Role: Weighbridge Operative
Location: Harlow Depot, Station Approach, Harlow, Essex, CM20 2EL
Rate: £13.00 p/h
Overtime Rate: 1.5x after 16:00 & Saturdays, 2x on Sundays
Contract length: Oct 2024 – Feb 2025 (Approx, based on business needs)
Shift Pattern: 07:00-16:00 Mon-Fri (45 hours per week), Overtime after 16:00

Responsibilities:

* Greet and manage both internal and external drivers at the site.

* Accurately record weight data using a Windows-based computer system.

* Weigh vehicles in and out of the site, maintaining electronic site records.

* Provide site staff with necessary information for production and loading.

* Perform general site administrative tasks.

Essential Requirements:

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to manage tasks independently and as part of a small team.

* Hands-on approach to learning plant operations.

Desirable Requirements:

* Knowledge of weighbridge operations and office administration.

* A driving license and access to a vehicle.
