Wasco UK is based in Hartlepool and specialises in protective coatings for oil and gas pipelines. We are looking to appoint a Project Engineer reporting to Project Manager

Responsibilities of the role:

* Preparing of production schedules in line with client's requirements

* ensuring the approved procedures are implemented, distributed and maintained by all parties

* Ensuring all subordinates are adequately trained and qualified to satisfactorily perform their duties

* ensuring proper communication for receiving and discharging pipes with all applicable parties

* monitoring production and logistic activity against project scheduling and quality requirements

* preparing the BOM for specific projects and liaise with procurement department on placing order

* preparing the BOL for specific projects by efficiently utilizing all the resources

* ensuring effective use of the pipe tracking system (PTS)

* understanding the fundamentals of the HSE Management System and applying that information on a daily basis

The successful candidate will have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent You will be a team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise work load efficiently to minimise down time.
