We’re hiring a Senior FP&A Manager to join a newly established FP&A team at the forefront of financial innovation. This role offers a chance to be part of a wider, nationally recognized, award-winning finance team.
The Opportunity:
As a Senior FP&A Manager, you’ll have a critical role in leading the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You’ll develop and manage medium-to long-term financial models, collaborating across teams to ensure sustainable funding. This includes analysing risks and opportunities, guiding decision-making processes, and supporting major initiatives like fee reviews and Spending Review submissions.
You'll be instrumental in the transformation journey, using advanced tools like Alteryx and Power BI to automate processes and enhance analytics. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain medium- to long-term financial models, ensuring sustainable funding.
Analyse funding risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights and actionable solutions.
Drive high-impact financial initiatives, collaborating with teams to optimize processes and cost models.
Utilize advanced analytics to automate financial reporting, enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
Provide expert advice on financial model assumptions and risks, supporting strategic business cases.
Contribute to procurement projects by performing affordability and should-cost analyses in line with best practices.What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Accountant (CCAB/CIMA or equivalent)
Proven ability to influence stakeholder decisions effectively.
Practical experience with activity-based costing methods and advanced data analysis.
Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, VBA, and Power Query.
Experience using the Alteryx application.
Working knowledge of Power BI visualization, including the use of DAX functions.
Understanding of the purpose and development of should-cost models. What We Offer:
