Job Title: NPD Lead

Are you ready for a new challenge? A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an NPD Lead to join a leading food manufacturing company in Edinburgh. This is your chance to make a real impact by spearheading innovative product development projects from concept through to market launch in a dynamic, fast-paced food environment.

​Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage all aspects of NPD projects, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technical, Procurement, Production) to deliver successful products to market.

* Write specifications, generate labels, and conduct cooking validations.

* Manage design agencies and ensure accurate product costing.

* Oversee the engineering of existing products to comply with evolving food legislation.

* Ensure products meet the high standards of leading UK retailers, including M&S

What You Bring:

* A degree in a food-related science field.

* At least 2 years of experience within an NPD role.

* Proven experience supplying to top UK retailers, ideally M&S.

* A passion for innovation and a strong understanding of food safety regulations.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
