Vineyard Manager

Salary and Benefits Package:
Paying £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary depending on experience.
Plus annual PPE allowance.
24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.Additional information:
This is a permanent full-time position.

The Job Role Details:
As Vineyard Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and supervising all vineyard activities to ensure the production of top-quality grapes. You will manage and train vineyard workers, coordinate seasonal labour, and uphold the highest standards of vine-care, health & safety, and equipment maintenance.

Oversee all vineyard operations, including pruning, canopy management, spraying, and harvest.
Monitor vine health, pest and disease control, and implement environmentally responsible vineyard treatments.
Lead and train a team of vineyard workers, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and manage risk assessments.
Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of vineyard equipment and machinery.
Represent the company at industry events and stay informed on viticultural advancements.Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

Vineyard / viticulture experience in a similar role.
A passion for the vineyard / viticulture sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of vine health, pest and disease control, and modern vineyard techniques.
Experience in operating and maintaining vineyard machinery.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality and sustainability.
