We are looking for a Technical Author to work within the defence sector.

Location: Hybrid working – Bristol

About the role: You will be responsible for reviewing the current UK Legislation and its applicability to Directed Energy Weapons (DEW).

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will hold Active SC clearance and have a proven Technical Author background, with the following skills/ experience:

* Knowledge of current Defence legislation with regards to ordnance, munitions and explosives and how this can or cannot be applied to Directed Energy Weapons (DWE).

* Strong STEM background with some technical knowledge of Directed Energy Weapons.

* Knowledge of current Defence legislation with regards to ordnance, munitions, and explosives as well as existing Health & Safety regulations.

* Experience of current regulation to DEW systems (Desirable)
