Contract Outline:

Role: Electrical Test Engineer

Sector: LV/MV Switchgear

Location: Leeds

Contract Length: 3 months +

Outside IR35

Rate: Open to market

Role Outline:

The factory acceptance testing (FAT) of either 11kV GenieEvo switchgear OR Okken LV switchboards. We only require experience of one or the other, not both!

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure the proper functioning of the Equipment manufactured, in compliance with the technical guides and engineering drawings.
Analyse the Engineering drawings to validate the compliance of the equipment.
Conduct final inspection & control testing of the assembled Switchboards (including automation, supervision, remote networking).
Prepare and perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with the customer and write the FAT test report.
Ensure the closing of detected issues (snag list) with the Project Manager.
Analyse the malfunctioning of equipment and report it to the concerned department.

Essential Skills:

11kV GenieEvo switchgear FAT experience OR Okken LV switchboard FAT experience.
Medium voltage primary switchgear switchboard test / diagnosis.
Perform FAT with the client.
Test protection relay devices: ideal experience with P3 / P5 relays (minimum SEPAM or MICOM).
Minimum Electrician level 3 NVQ or equivalent
