We are currently recruiting for an experienced skilled mechanical assembler to join a long-established manufacturing company based in Halesfield, Telford on a temporary – permanent basis.

Pay

£12.50 - £14.00 depending on experience

Working hours

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00

Friday: 08:00 - 15:00

Expected hours: 43 per week - Overtime available subject to approval

Duties

* Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and technical drawings.

* Utilise various power tools, hand tools and machinery/ equipment to complete tasks.

* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse environment.

* Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.

* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.

Experience

* Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a similar experience in related field.

* Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is essential for this role.

* Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous.

* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is highly valued.
