Role Overview
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical elements across diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Attending project kick-off meetings and managing mechanical deliverables to meet timelines and budgets.
* Reviewing project details and specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding.
* Preparing and managing technical submittals until approval.
* Tracking labour progress and maintaining weekly updates, including managing any changes or variations.
* Collaborating with main contractors and client site teams.
* Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of project materials, plant, and equipment.
* Ensuring construction and commissioning plans are implemented effectively.
* Managing documentation and project handover processes.
* Scheduling and attending meetings with subcontractors to align on project milestones.
* Participating in general site meetings and addressing actionable points.
* Sharing innovative ideas with the Contracts Manager to enhance project outcomes.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar capacity.
* A strong track record of managing and delivering large-scale projects successfully.
* Relevant qualifications in Construction or Project Management (preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams effectively.
