To provide a high standard of General Maintenance across all Company properties, ensuring all works are completed in a safe and timely manner

* To continually maintain the property appearance in good order at all times Internally & externally

* Highlighting works and areas for improvement, remedial and corrective action

* Assist in maintain the working environment at all times

1. The Primary Duties:

* To provide overall facilities general maintenance support to the facilities department and business as a whole, within the warehouse, office and grounds as required.

* Completing general handyman tasks, mainly consisting of painting and decorating where instructed and required, small fabric repairs and generally keeping the internal and external areas in presentable condition at all times.

1. The Secondary Duties:

* Reports damage and required repairs to Line Manager

* Use own initiative to plan and complete decorating works where required and as instructed

* Assist in moving, dismantling and assembling furniture as when required

* Respond to requests in an organized and timely manner.

* Provides assistance with general handyman tasks

* Lightbulb changes

* Ensures work is conducted according to H&S guidelines in a safe working manner

* Ability to understand risk and methods for task undertaken.

* Maintains a level of security in the building, such as locking doors, storing keys, and using access codes for restricted areas and rooms.

* Maintains equipment and supplies

* Travel between all B&S Group sites (Perivale and Ruislip)

Essentials Experience, Skills and Abilities:

* Previous experience, knowledge & ability in painting & decorating is required

* Ability to work on own and complete tasks to high standard

* High attention to detail

* Health & Safety aware

* Excellent communication and time management skills.

* The ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

* A 'can do’ attitude - able to work on own initiative.

* Adaptable to change

* Can be Flexible
