Estimator - Restoration & Conservation

My client specialise in the restoration and conservation of historic buildings and structures. They are looking for an estimator to join our team and help lead our projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for restoration, conservation, and refurbishment projects.

* Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to provide accurate pricing.

* Conduct site visits to assess work requirements.

* Collaborate with the project management team to ensure budgets are maintained.

* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing.

* Prepare and present final bids to clients.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within the restoration or conservation sector or refurbihsment/high end packages.

* Knowledge of heritage projects, building materials, and traditional construction methods.

* Strong understanding of the pricing and procurement process.

* Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.

* Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
