Job Summary
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the production process from raw material preparation through to packaging and quality control. Working as part of a team, you will ensure their cleaning products are manufactured safely, accurately, and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety in line with company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Production Line Operation: Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring machines are running smoothly and efficiently.
* Material Handling: Prepare raw materials for production, including measuring, mixing, and loading chemicals in compliance with safety standards.
* Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure that all products meet the quality standards. This includes inspecting raw materials, testing product batches, and conducting spot checks on packaging and labelling.
* Packaging and Labelling: Package finished products according to company guidelines, labelling them accurately to ensure proper identification for distribution.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.
* Inventory Management: Assist with stock control of raw materials and finished products, including reporting low stock levels to supervisors.
* Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools, ensuring they remain in good working condition. Clean machinery and work areas according to daily schedules.
