Junior IT Support Engineer
Salary: £25,000 -£28,000 per annum
Location: Uxbridge Area

You will be providing global technical support to a well-known reputable construction company and play a key role in developing and maintaining processes around systems management, security, hardware, and software inventory.
You will be the first line of support for all desktop issues, confidently handling advanced troubleshooting across all relevant IT verticals, ranging from end-user hardware and mobility to desktop applications, printing, scanning, network fundamentals, updates and patching.
My client is looking for a motivated candidate who has a passion for IT with great communication skills.

Essential skills needed for this role:
* Recent university graduate in Computer Science / Computing subject area or a minimum of 6-12 months experience in a 1st line IT support role
* UK Driving licence
* Practical communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with users and technical teams.
* Previous experience in an IT or similar role
* Experience in network and help desk support.
* Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
* Technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve various technical issues and knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
* Exceptional customer service skills to provide high-quality support to users.
* Assist with training sessions for new staff and on new features.
* Experience supporting Microsoft Technology
* Proactive problem-solving abilities, with an ability to identify and address potential issues before they arise.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle multiple support requests and projects simultaneously.
* Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills as needed.
* Problem-solving skills with excellent customer service
