Working with students and providing behavioural, emotional, social, and mental health (SEMH) support throughout the academic year is a crucial duty. Self-assured individuals are increasingly being hired by these schools to serve as learning support assistants.

The school provides assistance to children on the autistic spectrum and to pupils who struggle with attachment. Although it is preferable, prior experience dealing with these needs is not necessary for the learning support assistant. If you are a motivated and caring individual who want to have the greatest impact on these kids' lives, we would be delighted to talk with you. 

You will be able to establish solid bonds with kids and coworkers by working five days a week in this full-time job. If you think this is a chance for you even though you can't work full-time, don't be afraid to get in touch with us. 

It is mandatory for all school employees to have their updated DBS registered with the updating service. If not, we can assist you by sending you a direct application link. If you have worked overseas for more than six months in the last five years, you must obtain an OSPC (Overseas Police Check). These will be required in every school setting as a safety precaution.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience with SEND students as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
 Excellent classroom management
An NVQ Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification preferably
Child and Adult DBS
Experience working with Autism
