Job Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Production Line Operative to join our clients food production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring efficient processing, packaging, and quality control of food products on the production line. A strong eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict food safety standards are essential.
Pay - £23,800
Shift - 6am to 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Processing and Packaging:
* Operate and maintain equipment for food processing and packaging.
* Ensure food products are processed and packaged according to specifications and quality standards.
* Perform quality control checks to maintain company and regulatory standards.
Material Handling:
* Load and unload raw materials and finished products on the production line.
* Keep materials organized and available to meet production needs.
Process Monitoring:
* Monitor production processes and conduct regular checks to spot issues or malfunctions.
* Report any defects or inconsistencies to the Production Supervisor.
Maintenance and Cleanliness:
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with food safety regulations.
* Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
* Assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
Documentation:
* Accurately log production data and maintain up-to-date records.
* Complete necessary paperwork and ensure all records are current.
Skills and Abilities:
* High attention to detail with a focus on product quality.
* Effective teamwork and communication skills.
* Basic understanding of food production processes and machinery.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and uphold strict safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
* Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment, whether hot or cold.
Additional Requirements:
* Compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including wearing required protective clothing and equipment.
