Role: Project Manager – Facilities Management

Location: Birmingham

The company started life as a highly regarded branding/signage company and then, because of customer demand they have added additional product/service offerings including large range of facilities management services such as – tactile/safety Flooring application, graffiti removal, construction based remedial works, contract cleaning to name a few. The quality-of-service delivery has attracted an impressive list of clients such as Mitie, Network Rail, East Midlands Railway, Manchester Airport & Southwest Railway to name a few.

Due to considerable expansion/demand, it has created the need to appoint a new Project Manager specific to the facilities management side of the business.

The Candidate:

The client needs an adaptable and pro-active project manager, who is comfortable meeting clients and discussing projects, creating the project plan and overseeing the delivery to completion.

* Experience of customer supported visual surveys of potential projects and discussing works needed to complete.

* Feeding back to estimators and commercial team detailed descriptions on how long jobs will take and suggested materials with accompanying information including photos in order to be accurate.

* Overseeing jobs and setting up install teams while liaising with client to confirm timings.

* Creating Gantt charts and project plans to help smooth project delivery.

* Experience in FM, Rail Industry, Contract Cleaning, Signage and Display, Graffitti Removal or other service lead industries considered
