This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading sustainability consultancy focused on the built environment. You will play a key role within a consultancy that focuses on carbon reduction, building energy use and environmental legislation. With their continued growth, our client is seeking an Energy Modeler to join their team.
Key Responsibilities of the Energy Modeler:
Perform detailed energy modelling using IES software to optimize building performance.
Undertake TM59 assessments to evaluate the risk of overheating in residential buildings.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate energy-efficient design strategies.
Provide sustainability advice and solutions for various projects.
Generate comprehensive reports and provide recommendations based on modelling outcomes.
Ensure compliance with local and national regulations, standards, and certifications related to energy efficiency and building performance.
Assisting clients' understanding of the regulatory understanding of AD Part L, Part F and Part OKey Requirements of the Energy Modeler:
Proficiency in IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) software for energy modelling.
Strong experience with Part O and TM59 assessments.
Knowledge of UK building regulations and sustainability frameworks.
Experience in providing energy modelling and sustainability consulting on commercial, residential, and public sector projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.What is on Offer:
