Questech Recruitment are on the search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join the team at one of our clients based in Malton.

The Shifts:

Early (6-3) / Late (3-12) / days – Monday to Friday.

Call outs as needed as well covered by the ‘day’ shift person.

Note : Must be available for various shifts including nights / week ends

The Pay:

Permanent role / Salary - £42,762pa (Overtime rates apply where applicable)

Main Tasks:

* Maintenance role on a production site – The environment is ‘heavy industrial ‘ – almost towards the Agricultural side of things so would involve working at heights/confined space etc.

* Maintain the plant facilities and services, including compressed air

* Input to and carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines

* Support the operations team in achieving targets

* Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications

* To be observant & work off your own initiative when a fault is detected & to take action based on your best judgment on whether to effect immediate repair or not

* To keep clean any areas in which you are working, including any transit areas to and from the workshop, including the workshop and stores

* Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies

* Participate in the inputting of the maintenance management system (CMMS), records of all changes, stores transactions made, and work carried out

Person Specification:

* Trades qualification

* Mechanical or Electrical background.

* Multi-skilled / cross-skilled ethos

* Aptitude for process awareness, diagnostic / trouble-shooting experience gained in a Hi-volume environment

* Good team player that can use their initiative

* Computer skills an advantage

* Note : Must be available for various shifts including nights / week ends
