£13.33 p/hr + £46.35 p/week shift allowance

Overtime @ 1.3x rate

We are excited to be recruiting for a leading manufacturer based in Redditch who specialise in critical components. This is a great opportunity for an entry level machine operative that wants attainable progression into a skilled position within a regulated manufacturing industry.

The purpose of this role is to provide a hands-on heavy machining function within manufacturing process identifying nonconformances and apply rectification to a wide range of aerospace components.

The role is accountable for efficiently delivering conforming products on time in full (OTIF) to meet customer commitments.

This role supports the continuous improvement of process and people-centric resolutions to complex, multi-disciplined challenges.

Scope and Responsibilities

* Assist on department component operations

* Understanding of visual inspection standards and specifications.

* To provide support for manufacturing operations

* To cover other ad-hoc duties as and when required

* To follow manufacturing processes / procedures

* Meet the company standards of performance

* Able to read precision measured equipment

Skills

* Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

* Good spoken and written English to competently understand technique cards and safety instructions.

* Aptitude for progression into more complex machining roles.
