Our client, a leading consultancy in the Highways sector, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer on a contract basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, focusing on highway and highway drainage design, within a dynamic Land Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing masterplans and site appraisals
Writing reports to support planning applications
Preparing design calculations and construction drawings
Delivering highway design and drainage principles (layout, parameters, etc.)
Designing surface water and foul drainage systems
Collaborating effectively with colleagues, including more senior and junior staff
Applying National Highway and Local Authority design guidance in your work
Preparing drawings for S104/S185/S106 Drainage and S38/S278 Highway Agreements

Job Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering
Approaching Chartered status with strong postgraduate civil engineering experience
Proficiency in MicroDrainage and Civils 3D modelling software
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good written and spoken communication skills
Sound knowledge of DMRB, Local Authority Highway and Water Authority Design Guides
