Job Advertisement: Year 6 Teacher

Location: B12, Birmingham
Start Date: April 2025
Salary: £170 - £211 per day

Aspire People are excited to be recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to join a well-respected primary school in the B12 area of Birmingham starting in April 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning for a Year 6 class, ensuring all pupils reach their potential.
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to both pupils and parents.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and supportive environment.

Essential Criteria:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous teaching experience in a Year 6 class (essential).
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or the ability to obtain one).
- Must be able to provide at least two professional references from the last 2 years of employment, with professional email addresses.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
