Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a leading construction company with a rich heritage of delivering high-quality projects across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team in Cambridge.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

* Accurately prepare cost estimates for various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

* Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to ensure comprehensive assessments.

* Work closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.

* Provide value engineering solutions to ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality.

* Assist in tender preparation and submission, including pricing and documentation.

* Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

* Keep up to date with market trends, material costs, and construction methods.

The ideal applicant for this position will possess;

* Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a background in major construction projects.

* Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market rates.

* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* Full UK driving license.

The successful applicant can expect to receive;

* Competitive salary of £80,000 - £85,000.
