Morgan Law are now working with a leading Public Sector organisation in London on an exciting new permanent opportunity for an expert in the areas of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing.

As Head of EDI and Wellbeing, reporting to the Director of People, this role is the key Subject Matter Expert and thought leader for the EDI and Wellbeing space and will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction in EDI and Wellbeing, as well as inspiring, organising, and directing the work of the EDI and Wellbeing Team.

This role will ideally suit an established EDI professional with experience of setting and leading EDI strategy and operations in large and complex Public Sector organisations and the expert knowledge to advise colleagues at all levels on relevant EDI and Wellbeing matters.

The ideal candidate will also offer a track record and sleeves-up approach to delivering measurable change across the EDI and Wellbeing agenda.

To be considered you will require:

Highly developed specialist knowledge and experience across a range of EDI and Wellbeing subjects including EDI and Wellbeing policy, strategy development, reporting and metrics, establishment and management of staff networks
A demonstrable understanding of current legislation as it applies to equality, diversity, and inclusion
Significant experience in the leadership and delivery of EDI & Wellbeing related projects, programmes and services, including facilitation of sessions and workshops.
The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, establishing credibility with senior staff who often have high levels of personal diversity and inclusion expertise
Previous line management experience together with a coaching and supportive management style

The starting salary for this role is in the region of £60,000 - £65,000 pa plus excellent benefits and the role is based in central London with hybrid working available
