This practice boasts a comprehensive project portfolio of landmark projects including commercia, leisure, healthcare, education, retail and industrial. Due to some key project wins, they are now looking to expand the team by hiring an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

Your New Role

As a Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of complex electrical systems for a range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading and managing electrical design projects from concept to completion.

* Developing detailed electrical designs, specifications, and calculations.

* Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.

* Conducting site inspections and providing technical support during construction phases.

* Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

* Extensive experience in electrical design within the building services sector.

* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools.

* Strong project management skills and the ability to lead a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
