Job Title: Shift Maintenance Technician

Location: Exeter, EX1

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Continental shift pattern - (6am – 2pm, 10am – 2pm, 10pm-6am)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping critical sites running smoothly? We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join an Engineering team at a large site based in Exeter.

Role Overview:

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous operation of the site. Working on a continental shift pattern consisting of days and nights. you will be responsible for conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain the site's functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within the facility.

* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

* Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex technical problems.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a maintenance role

* Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance techniques.

* Electrical or mechanical qualifications are essential.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

* Willingness to work on a continental shift pattern (days and nights)
