Our client is looking for a Assembly Operative to provide additional support to their Assembly / Finishing Cell areas, as well as providing cover for the stores areas.
Responsibilities (Assembly)
* Assembling products for customer requirements
* Component Test Inspection (CTI) including allocation of rack locations
* Pre pack orders / parts
Duties (Stores)
* Providing cover during holiday / absence and busy periods
* Booking in materials and cosumables, ensuring they are put away correctly
* Raw material handling
* Stocking checking
* Disposal of waste material
* FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE
* Forklift license is an advantage but not essential
* Pick and pack for daily customer despatch
The following attributes are essential for this role and full training will be provided
* Experience working in stores
* IT Literate
* Knowledge / experience working in the engineering sector would be advantageous
* Team worker
* Good organisational skills
