ROLE: Senior Quantity Surveyor

LOCATION: Stevenage - Hertfordshire

SALARY: £65,000 - £85,000 + Package

BUSINESS TYPE: Main Contractor/D&B Contractor

They are a multi-disciplined business who provide a range of services to both commercial and domestic clients. Regulated by the RICS, this business works as a Consultancy, Main Contractor and Developer, undertaking a variety tasks to mean the needs of a client. This is a young, growing company who has secured over 300% of the required pipeline, hence the need to grow the team. Projects vary, so it is an interesting position, where you can gain exposure to areas that may not always have been part of your job description.

The Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take on full commercial responsibilities of a project from initial procurement through to final accounts. With this being a multi-disciplined business, the type of work can vary, so you could be managing a JCT Main Contracting project, a D&B project or working on an in-house development. The company will utilise your skills and experience to suit your location and interests. As a growing business, opportunities to progress will be available. The right freelance candidate may also be considered but the parameters are extremely specific.

The Applicant:

The ideal candidate must have:

* Experience managing projects as a Quantity Surveyor from start to finish.

* Further related education such as a Quantity Surveying degree

* Knowledge of different contracts, mainly JCT and D&B

It is desirable to have:

* Some Consultancy experience
