£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Great benefits (listed below)

Brilliant opportunity to join a well established company that is going from strength to strength. You will be a senior member of the team and have responsibility for managing a Quality Inspector.

The Role:

Driving the up-front quality planning of customer products, ensuring they meet all requirements and standards.
Lead quality improvement activities and Oversee root cause analysis.
You will have full ownership for the NCR process.
Oversee all reviews for customer quality requirements.
Approve manufacturing quality packs.
Lead execution of FAIR's. Both First off inspection and report generation.
Manage 1 quality inspector, performance reviews and scheduling workload etc.
Ensuring overall adherence to ISO9001 standards.

The Candidate:

Previous experience in similar role.
Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
Understanding of GD&T
5s and Lean manufacturing experience.
Able to use measuring equipment, such as verniers and micrometers where needed.
Extensive knowledge of ISO9001 and QMS system.
Continuous improvement mindset.
