Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with UK educational experience to join our vibrant school community in Barnstaple. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students and helping to create a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons
Providing one-on-one support to students who need extra help
Supporting students with special educational needs
Helping to manage classroom behaviour
Preparing classroom materials and resources
Supervising students during breaks and lunchtimes
Assisting with school events and activities
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school
A strong understanding of the UK education system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development (desirable but not essential)
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
