Permanent Data Business Analyst - Insurance - The City, London (hybrid working)
I am working with an established insurance organisation, based in The City of London, who are looking for a permanent Data Business Analyst. This is a great role for someone with a minimum of 2 years working in the business analysis field and looking to further their career.
You must have an insurance background and:
* Certification in Business Analysis (IIBA or equivalent) is highly desirable, but not essential.
* 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with exposure to data-driven projects and environments.
* Previous experience working in the insurance industry is essential.
* Hands-on experience in requirement elicitation, creating Business Requirement Specification (BRS) documents.
* Full knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and testing teams.
* Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, prioritize projects, and provide updates on progress.
* Technical proficiency in tools such as SQL, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite are highly desirable. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is also an advantage.
* A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
* A proactive approach to staying updated on trends and best practices in data analytics and business analysis
