We are recruiting for a Procurement Executive to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in West Molesey. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am-6pm offering a salary up to £35k based on experience together with excellent benefits as below!

As Procurement Executive you will report into the Procurement Manager, and working in a small team you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of raw materials, equipment, and services necessary for the production of pharmaceuticals. In detail this will entail the following:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
Develop and maintain relationships with current and new suppliers to ensure continuous supply and negotiate favourable terms.
Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
Process purchase orders and manage procurement cycles to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
Implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and pricing. 
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or similar
Educated to degree level ideally within a related field
IT literate
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
Good understanding of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements
