Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (2 required in KS1).

Job Duties:
Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) as directed by the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)
Support students in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks
Help manage student behaviour through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies
Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
GCSE Maths
GCSE English
Experience:
Prior experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication skills
Ability to solve problems effectively
Demonstrated leadership skills
Understanding of special educational needs practises
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous
Working Conditions:
Work in a classroom setting within a school environment
Full-time hours, temporary position
May involve some physical activity and standing for extended periods
