Position: Operations Director
Company: Food Producer & Online 'Cook at Home' Innovator
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 + excellent package
We are looking for an experienced Operations Director to join a dynamic food manufacturer in Leicestershire. The company has experienced rapid growth, going from zero to a £80m turnover in just 5 years, producing and distributing 'ingredients in a box' food products to households across the UK.
As the Operations Director, you will work closely with shift managers and the production manager to optimize production lines, manage facility expansions, improve health and safety standards, and recruit and retain skilled staff. You will also play a crucial role in liaising with customers to address any concerns and ensure continued business growth and success.
We are seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in operations management. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing production and improving efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice to the Managing Director on production and operations
- Lead a team of employees to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Implement business strategies to support growth and expansion
- Manage inventory policies to optimize productivity and reduce working capital
