Job Title: Exam Invigilator - Sheffield

Academics is an established educational agency, and we are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support schools in Sheffield during the busy A-Level and GCSE exam season. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education and training or those looking to gain experience in a school environment.

About the Role

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exams run smoothly and in accordance with JCQ regulations. This is a temporary position designed to help schools with their exam cover needs throughout the summer exam period.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing and supervising students during exams
Ensuring JCQ regulations are adhered to
Distributing and collecting exam papers
Assisting students with queries in line with exam guidelines
Reporting any irregularities to the exams officerRequirements

To be considered for this Exam Invigilator role, you must:

Have received training to JCQ standards and provide evidence of this
Be flexible and reliable to meet the needs of the school
Be able to work at various school locations in Sheffield
Have excellent attention to detail and a professional attitude
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for oneDesirable Experience

Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator would be an advantage but is not essential
Experience of working as a scribe or reader during exams would also be beneficial
A background in education and training would be useful, but not requiredJob Details

Location: Various schools in Sheffield
Contract: Temporary during the summer exam period
Pay Rate: 13.68 per hour
