We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive contract and distribution sales for a leading manufacturer and designer of commercial interior solutions across the South Central region.
This role focuses on securing new build and refurbishment projects by collaborating with architects, contractors, and end users to specify and deliver innovative interior solutions.
Your responsibilities will include developing and managing customer relationships, promoting product specifications across key sectors such as healthcare, education, public buildings, and industrial premises. You will oversee the entire sales process, from initial specification to project delivery and aftercare, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
A key aspect of the role involves maintaining a project pipeline using the CRM system and achieving annual sales targets. You’ll also organize CPD seminars, represent the company at trade shows, and provide insights into market trends to support product and territory development.
The area is covering the South Central region of Oxfordshire, High Wycombe, Slough, Berkshire, Salisbury, Southampton, Bournemouth, Dorset, Dorset, Watford and Harrow.
On offer is a salary of £40,000-£55,000 with up to 35% bonus, a hybrid company car, private healthcare, and 26 days of holiday, plus additional benefits. This is an opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team and make an impact within a leading company.
We are ideally looking for someone who has sold a commercial interior product via specification or is looking to get into specification sales and has worked with contractors on commercial projects.
You must have field sales experience and be self-motived, target-driven and ambitious and as successful in growing existing business as you are in hunting down new opportunities
