Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE)

You'll oversee the end-to-end process of ocean import logistics, from tracking shipments and managing documentation to coordinating with customs and resolving any issues that arise. Independently handle shipments in the role of Ocean freight Imports in accordance with quality standards, including documentation, booking, shipment control, transport insurance, accounting, and customs handling
Provide customer support in conjunction with the Sales Department, including occasional client visits when required
Handle complaints in line with BIFA Terms and Conditions, including correct KPI recording
Communicate with our UK, Overseas offices, and agents
Check job file reporting, accuracy, and profitability
Focus on ensuring the most cost-effective service solutions are being utilized without risk to service levelsQualifications

Previous experience in Ocean freight Import operations
Knowledge of BIFA Terms and Conditions
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Familiarity with customs handling and transport insurance
