What you'll be doing;
Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures, regulations, legislation and guidance
Maintain compliance against Site's Environmental Permit
Technically assess waste before uploading lists into Salesforce
Liaise with Customer services regularly regarding incoming wastes
Checking and generating paperwork and labels
Responsible for ensuring all wastes are segregated and stored according to relevant regulations and legislation
Managing inputs and maintaining stock levels of waste and packaging
Ensure that all loads are disposed of in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidance
Arrange transport and disposal of loads to both internal and external customers
Ensure all waste received is compliant and caveats adhered to/inserted.
Informing customers of NCR's and relevant surcharges
What we're looking for;
Bachelor's degree or HND/HNC in Chemistry
IT literate
IOSH passport or managing safely
Experience in a transfer station environment or dealing with hazardous chemicals/waste
Prepared to work towards becoming Technically Competent
