We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team in a leading manufacturing & production business based in Bedford. This role will provide critical financial insights, support cost control, and drive profitability through financial analysis and reporting.

Description

Management Accountant

Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Conduct cost analysis to monitor production expenses and improve efficiency.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Support the month-end and year-end close process.
Monitor manufacturing costs, standard costing, and cost variances.
Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and work-in-progress (WIP) analysis.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Work closely with operations, production, and procurement teams to ensure cost control and efficiency.
Provide financial insights to non-finance teams to drive business performance.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

A degree in finance or related field.
Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good organisational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.Job Offer
