Location: commutable to Burnley

Remuneration: £35,000neg + profit share bonus

The role of the Technical Coordinator – Fabrics & Textiles will involve:

* Technical Coordinator position dealing with our clients manufactured range of wall coverings into the commercial interior sector

* Carrying out GAP analysis and scoping activities to determine customer needs & identify areas that require product development

* Liaise with mills and suppliers to obtain the most competitive prices and sustainable quality products

* Communicate design briefs with relevant internal parties

* Coordinate design layouts and made-up items for photo shoots etc

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Coordinator – Fabrics & Textiles with:

* Must have relevant textiles / fabrics qualifications or working experience within the industry

* Must have experience dealing with CAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

* Understanding of fabric analysis – identifying fibre types, woven constructions, and yarn counts

* Familiar with technical textile qualities and testing methods – FR, Abrasion, BS, EU and USA validation methods

* Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines

* Vibrant, fresh and enthusiastic

* Commercial design led sales experience preferred

* Autonomous, driven and excellent territory planning skills
