GPS have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join a employee owned business in Leeds. The company has experienced significant year on year growth and are looking for a Senior Manager to join a very successful and well-motivated team. The Service Engineers need to be on site as and when required, be fully competent and in possession of all the likely components required. The aim is to fix a problem in just one visit.
Role responsibilities but not limited to: -
· Lead a very successful office-based team that co-ordinate field teams of two engineers each.
· Managing multiple teams over two locations, arranging the most efficient workflow to ensure maximum productivity whilst minimising response times.
· Developing and Implementing a Service Strategy that will take the department forward.
· Develop techniques that ensure the Service Department operates effectively and that its activities are aligned to Departmental and Company objectives.
· Accurate and timely processing of customer quotations, orders and order confirmations.
· Manage all customer enquiries to a satisfactorily resolution within agreed timescales.
· Monitor Service Department staffing levels so competently trained and motivated Engineers are always available to deliver an efficient service to all our customers.
· Actively promote and manage the process of continuous improvement in Customer Service Standards within the Department.
· Take ownership of our customer’s experience in dealing with the Service Department.
· Develop Service Strategies for individual customers and present them, potentially at board level.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
