Salary: £26,449 - £29,138 per annum DOE plus 20% shift allowance and other Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week- over various shift pattern

Location: Hatton Wastewater Treatment Works, Arbroath, DD11 2PJ and other sites as required

What you'll be doing;

Report to the Unit Controller/Deputy Unit Controller with responsibility for the operational control of the Process Units within the Tay contract and associated sites, so as to meet all operating targets.

Perform a range of assigned activities including lab duties, running of a Seghers dryer BFPs, GBTs Centrifuges and all processes required to run a STC building.

SCADA checks laboratory sampling, testing, routine plant and network checks.

First line maintenance and problem solving to ensure that services are delivered to time, cost and quality standards.

Ensure all statutory Quality and Safety policies and regulations are satisfied, and that all company policies are implemented and maintained.

Ensure equipment and resources are used, maintained and replaced appropriately.

Adhere to health and safety procedures in order to ensure the safety of self and others and minimise risk.

Work within Company guidelines, including incident avoidance plans in order to minimise business risk.

PPM and Task spec completion.

What we're looking for;

Experience of problem solving in a wastewater environment or similar process related industry

SVQ 3 Wastewater management or willing to achieve

UK Driving licence is essential

Ability to work various shift patterns and weekends

Confident, flexible and professional at all times, able to work effectively as part of the Operations team and work on their own.

Able to make sound decisions based on technical knowledge taking into account environmental impact and issues.

Working Safely, Issuing Permits to Work, Experience working with Confined Space Regulations or willing to achive
