Cover Supervisor

Salary: £95-£120 per day

GSL Education’s branch based in South Yorkshire are currently seeking to employ a number of Cover Supervisor to work across client schools based in Rotherham, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain focused on their tasks.
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Support students with their learning and provide assistance where needed.
Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues that arise.
Uphold school policies and procedures at all times.
As a Cover Supervisor, essential requirements include the following:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
A positive attitude and a passion for working with young people.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Availability to work part-time or full-time hours as needed.
Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
