* Knowledge of modelling languages and architecture frameworks, e.g., UML/SysML, ArchiMate, TOGAF, MODAF.

* Requirements engineering and its link to verification and validation.

* Working on the integration of complex systems, including military civilian platforms (submarines, aircraft, ships, and vehicles), civilian aircraft systems and advanced power and energy systems.

* Applying systems engineering processes (e.g., ISO 15288:2023) across the lifecycle.

* Understanding of engineering within the MOD’s acquisition framework, Knowledge in Defence (KiD).

* Understanding of engineering within the MOD’s procurement framework, Knowledge in Defence (KiD).

* Ability to understand, simplify and explain subject matter to non-engineers and senior stakeholders.

* Chartered Engineer (or working towards it – the client will cover costs if required).

Benefits/Perks:

* Pension up to 10% client contribution.

* Life assurance, income protection insurance and critical illness cover.

* Option to buy & sell holiday.

* Dental, health, medical, travel and gadget insurance.
