Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Exciting Opportunity to Work with pupils with ASD / Mild SEN in Leighton Buzzard

Are you an experienced LSA who is looking for a new exciting role in Leighton Buzzard? Do you want to make a positive difference every day?

Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a well run and supportive Primary school in Leighton Buzzard to source a number of LSA's to work closely with SEN pupils starting ASAP. These pupils have various mild SEN requirements and need dedicated LSA's to support them in some classes in a mainstream school setting.

Reliable - children with SEN rely on familiarity and need the same staff each day to ensure maximum progress is made

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to pupils with SEN needs and support with classroom activities
Assist in implementing personalised learning plans to suit the pupil's needs
Support with social interactions and the development of social skills
Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to assess the progress and attainment
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

We are looking for candidates who:

Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or LSA or those with experience supporting young people or adults with autism
Or are highly educated and looking for a post in which to start a career within education
Possess a genuine passion for supporting young learners
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
Show adaptability, patience and a positive attitude
Are committed to continuous professional development and learning
