CER Education Liverpool are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years teaching assistant to work full time in a Primary School in Huyton, Knowsley
This role is to start in May 2025 and will continue until July 2025. The hours of work will be 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. There is a possibility that this role may continue in September for the right person.
The role is to work as a general teaching assistant supporting the whole class and small group interventions. However, there may be times when you will be expected to support on an 1:1 basis, pupils with SEMH needs.
You will be working as part of an experienced Early Years team and will be supported by the class teacher on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities;
Supporting the needs of the children including those with SEND and SEMH needs
EYFS curriculum knowledge.
Setting up resources
Classroom resource and preparation.Preferred Skills;
Qualification within education specifically a Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 and/or 3.
Previous experience in teaching assistant roles or working with chidlren.
Resilience and great work ethic.
Experience working with small groups and 1:1.
Assist students during lessons and ensure they are on task.
