GROUP SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE / COMPLIANCE MANAGER REQUIRED FROM A PROCESS ENVIRONMENT REQUIRED FOR A REMOTE ROLE THAT REQUIRES TRAVEL TO SITES

TITLE: Compliance Manager - SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE – Waste Management

SALARY: £45,000 -£50,000 plus £5k car allowance

LOCATION: You may be located in East London, Kent or Essex, The role is remote and a mixed of on-site across the UK and home based
You will be required to travel to sites initially 5 days a week, but once established 1-2 days a week

PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Health & Safety Manager, Environment & Quality Manager, QHSE / HSEQ Manager, Compliance Manager, SHEQ Business Partner

You will have a background in a heavy / industrial production environment ideally with a distribution network. Examples of ideal backgrounds would include, Waste Management, Recycling, Clinical waste, Hazardous waste, Heavy Industry, Organic Waste, Water Treatment, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Industry, Waste Management, Energy From Waste, Anaerobic Digestion, Chemical Production, Brewery, Sewage Treatment etc.

ROLE: Compliance Manager - SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE

You will be responsible for Health and Safety, Environment and Quality at a handful of site across England

You will innovate and work to drive performance vs relevant KPI’s e.g. improving near miss reporting, reducing LTA’s and RIDDOR’s and make sure regular audits are in place

You will deal with permitting and quality management systems

EXPERIENCE: Compliance Manager - SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE

You will have managed SHEQ at a management level and be able to demonstrate autonomy and self-motivation

You will have a background in a heavy / industrial production environment ideally with a distribution network. You will have a NEBOSH General as a minimum.

Any affiliations that would be desirable include TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA as would any professional certification such as an MBA

ISO Management systems experience ideal

You will have excellent IT skills
